4 killed in Indian firing across LoC: Reports

Srinagar: Three young girls and a teenage boy were killed and three other people, including a minor girl, were injured as Indian troops shelled villages in Pakistan-adminstered Kashmir along the Line of Control (LoC) on Saturday, Dawn reported.

The killings occurred in the Keri sector of Charhoi tehsil in the southern Kotli district, where assistant commissioner Raja Arif Mahmod said, shelling had started at about 9:45am, the report said.

“The shelling has been heavy, but intermittent. They (Indians) are hitting the areas randomly,” Mahmod was quoted by Dawn to have said.
