Afridi condemns Kashmir killings, questions UN’s efforts to stop bloodshed

Srinagar: Pakistan cricket sensation Shahid Khan Afridi today condemned the killings in Kashmir while questioning the UN’s efforts to stop the bloodshed in the region.

“Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self-determination & independence. Wonder where is the & other int bodies & why aren’t they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?” Afridi tweeted.

On Sunday, 13 militants and four civilians were killed by the government in three separate gunfights in twin south Kashmir districts: Shopian and Anantnag.

Three army personnel were also killed during one of the gunfights in Shopian.
