HM to CM: ‘Stop shedding crocodile tears’; asks police to ‘stop injustice’

Srinagar: Militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) has asked Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to “stop shedding crocodile tears; nation won’t fell to your deception”.

In a fresh 10-minute-long video that went viral on social network sites on Thursday, HM has challenged the Mehbooba Mufti to shun her security for 15 days and prove her popularity.

The militant speaking in the video has been identified as Ashraf Molvi, a media report said. He was flanked by other two gun-wielding militants and all three were dressed in military camouflage.

The militant commander also warned the Jammu and Kashmir Police to “stop working for Indian army and instead help the mujahideen”.

“However, I want to tell those Police officers who killed their own brethren for petty gains that they will be made to pay for every injustice they did,” the commander said.

Earlier, similar videos were widely shared by Burhan Wani and his successor Zakir Rashid, in which the duo warned the J&K Police of “dire consequences” if they continue to side with India.
