ICP elects a native Kashmiri as Regional President

Srinagar: The Indian Commercial Pilots’ (ICP) association yesterday elected a native Kashmiri as Regional President after the results of the 2018 election were declared.

Captain Kapil Raina, a Kashmiri from Karan Nagar who is currently residing in Delhi, was elected as the Regional President of the association.

“We are pleased to inform that the following members have been elected as office bearers of ICP Northern region for the year-2018,” the association said in a statement.

Captain Raina joined the Indian Airlines as co-pilot in 1988 and is currently Sr comander check pilot instructor on Airbus-fleet of Air India.

He has more than 20000k hrs flying experience. He is the son of Jawahar Lal Raina who owned the first transport company of J&K, M/S Bharat Transport Company. Capt Raina’s daughter is also the first and youngest airbus copilot from the State.
