JKLF leader suffers heart attack after police raid his house

Srinagar: A pro-freedom leader belonging to Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) suffered a heart attack after his house was raided by the police on Friday evening, a JKLF member said.

“Javaid Ahmad Zargar’s house in Chanapora, Srinagar was raided by the police in the evening with the result he suffered a massive heart attack. His condition is critical in SMHS (Shri Maharaja Hari Singh) hospital,” the JKLF member told Kashmir Narrator.

Zargar was one of the five militants released in exchange of Rubiya Sayeed, former CM Mufti Sayeed’s daughter, in December 1989.
