Kashmir: JRL to address media on Saturday about ‘deteriorating, repressive’ situation

Srinagar: Pro-freedom leadership is looking “at ways and means available to deal with the deteriorating, repressive situation” in Kashmir after the trio leaders – Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik – held a meeting at the Hyderpora residence of Geelani Thursday morning.

This was announced by the Mirwaiz in a tweet.

The trio leaders represent the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) of Kashmir Valley.

The meeting was held in the backdrop of recent killings in south Kashmir’s Pulwama and Shopian district where two civilians and two militants were killed this week.
