Senior pro-freedom leaders Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik Thursday reached at the Hyderpora residence of Syed Ali Geelani to discuss the present political situation in Kashmir, reports said.

Both Mirwaiz, who is chairman of Hurriyat (M), and JKLF chief Yasin Malik reached Hyderpora Thursday morning to discuss “the present political situation in the Valley”, reports added.

The trio leaders represent the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) in the Valley.

“An emergency meeting is underway to discuss the present political situation in the backdrop of recent civilian and militant killings,” a source at Geelani’s residence said.
