Srinagar: Kashmir University today postponed all exams and suspended class work at the varsity following the killing of three local militants in Anantnag.
“Class work at the University of Kashmir shall remain suspended on March 12, 2018 (Monday). Moreover, all examinations scheduled for the day (March 12, 2018) are postponed. Fresh dates for the deferred examinations will be notified separately, later,” a statement from PRO KU said.
The step presumable has been taken in wake of the restrictions announced by the authorities following the killing of three militants including Mohammad Eesa of Ahmad Nagar, Soura, Owais Shafi of Kokernag and Sabzar Sofi of Naina, Sangam, Anantnag in a gunfight with government forces at Hakoora, Anantnag.
