MeT forecasts rain, snowfall in Kashmir from tomorrow

Srinagar: Meteorological Department predicted rainfall in plains and heavy rainfall or snow in upper reaches of Jammu and Kashmir from February 23.

According to the weather advisory issued by the MeT Department, a fresh western disturbance is likely affect the region from February 23 and is likely going to persist till afternoon of February 24.

“A fresh Western Disturbance will affect J&K from 23 Feb (night) to 25 Feb (forenoon) resulting in moderate to heavy rainfall in plains and heavy rainfall/snowfall in upper reaches around 24 Feb,” read the weather advisory issued by MeT Department.
