Srinagar: At least three army soldiers received injuries on Saturday after militants ambushed an army convoy on Srinagar-Jammu highway in Kadlabal area of Pampore town of Pulwama district, sources said.

The militants, whose number couldn’t be confirmed immediately, fled after firing on the convoy, said the sources, adding that a search operation is underway in the area.

No militant outfit has so far claimed responsibility for the ambush.
