Militants’ Killing In Tanghdar: Shutdown, protests in Pulwama

South Kashmir’s Pulwama district observed a complete shutdown Monday against the killing of an alleged local militant in north Kashmir’s Tanghdar sector on 25 May. 

Locals reports said that youth clashed with government forces in main town Pulwama with latter resorting to teargas shelling to disperse protesters.

Sheeraz Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Lajoora Pulwama, is believed to be one among the five militants killed in Tangdhar on May 25.

His family claimed that they have identified Sheikh as the photographs of the slain militants surfaced on the social media.
