Srinagar: The family of incarcerated pro-freedom leader and Chairman Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah visited the residence of the pellet-hit Insha Mushtaq on Monday to adopt her, a statement issued by Shah’s party said.
Shah’s family went to Sedu, Shopian and adopted Insha as their third daughter, the statement added.
The family, which comprised of Shah’s wife, daughters, elder brother, sister, and others, was led by DFP secretary general Moulana Abdullah Tari, the statement said.
On the occasion, Moulana Tari announced before the family and relatives of Insha that all her responsibilities will be fulfilled by Shah, the statement added.
DFP’s spokesperson, Zameer Ahmad, told Kashmir Narrator it is up to Insha to decide whether she wants to remain with his own family or Shah sahib’s family.
