

A cross-section of people attended the daylong meeting at Hyderpora
Srinagar: All the ‘stakeholders’ have “agreed and given surety” to follow the programmes of joint resistance leadership and have given them “full mandate” to carry on the movement, a press statement issued here by the joint pro-freedom camp today said after a daylong meeting at Hurriyat(G) headquarters, Hyderpora.
The much hyped meeting was attended by a cross-section of people after they were invited jointly by Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, who spearhead the present 4-month long agitation, to discuss the “future strategy”.
“All the stakeholders have given their surety that the programmes of the joint resistance leadership will be followed so that the resistance movement will be taken to its conclusion,” the statement added.
