Srinagar: One of the civilians who was injured in Mirbazar, Anantnag shootout on May 6 succumbed to his injuries on Sunday at Sheri-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences.

The civilian has been identified as Mohammad Hussain Dar S/O Ghulam Ahmad of Takia, Malpora area of south Kashmir’s district Kulgam.

Hussain was injured during a militant attack on a police party in Mirbazar area of Anantnag on May 6. With Hussain’s death, the death toll has reached six: four civilians, one policeman and one militant.
