Delhi-based woman journalist barges into pro-freedom leader’s bedroom, files complaint

Srinagar: Pro-freedom leader and chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik alleged that a Delhi-based female journalist barged into his bedroom of Maisuma residence without permission and started shooting with her camera.

“I snatched her camera and told her to leave the place. She then created a scene by crying and alleging that I manhandled her,” Malik said in a press conference on Friday.

“I was sleeping when a female TV journalist from New Delhi barged into my bedroom. She never called for an appointment,” Malik added.

He alleged that the Indian media was taking diktats from the army to defame the freedom movement in Kashmir.

Malik said he has filed a formal complaint against the reporter for “breaching the privacy of a person.”
