
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to shut down schools and colleges on May 30 in Kashmir in the wake of protests that erupted after the killing of top Hizbul Mujahideen militant Sabzar Bhat on May 27 in a brief encounter in Saimoo, Tral.
Class work in all the schools, higher secondary institutions and colleges of the Valley shall remain suspended tomorrow, My 30 “as a precautionary measure”, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan was quoted by a news report as saying.
