It was a shocking news early in the morning to hear about Sridevi’s demise. One can’t believe that the actress can leave us so early. It was a coincidence just yesterday I watched a film on fantacy originally made in Tamil and dubbed in Hindustani which I enjoyed a lot till hours.
Sridevi shot to fame after her film with Jatendra titled Himatwala. People were fond of this pair after this move. I remember her many marvelous films like Chandni, Mr. India, Lamha, Khudagava and above all Sadma. In ’80s to ’90s, Sridevi ruled the Industry with her tremendous acting potential. In nutshell one can ultimate pray for her peace who has left this world at a young age but left behind her the remarkable acting career which will always remain in the hearts of art loving people.

It is painful. I am scattered as she was my first favourite. I remember my childhood “main teri dushman dushman tu maira main nagin tu sapayera”..”bijlie geyraanay main houn aayee kehtay hain mujh ko hawa hawaie ” her dialogue delivery and peculiar voice culture had no match in whole film industry. Yes my age group especially in Kashmir by and large are mad after her performances. I pray for her eternal peace. Om Shanti.

Sridevi’s scintillating screen presence soon made her one of the most sought after actress in filmistaan. I witnessed her performance when she was in Pahalgam for shooting a film Karma with Dilip Kumar Shaib. That memory lingered on and on which I shall always cherish.
