Srinagar: Militants fired at a vehicle carrying two senior police officials in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday but no one was hurt.

A Deputy Superintendent of Police and a Station House Officer (SHO) were travelling in the vehicle when it was targeted, a police official said, adding that the duo was returning to Shopian town from Behibugh.

The militants fled from the spot after attacking the vehicle.
