Srinagar: Two policemen were killed in two separate militant attacks in Kashmir on Sunday. In the afternoon, militant(s) shot and injured policeman Kultair Singh at Chadoora, Budgam who later succumbed to his injuries at an Army hospital. 

In the evening, gunmen attacked a police guard at the residence of Hurriyat leader Fazal Haq Qureshi at Bilal Colony Soura in Srinagar and injured him seriously. He was shifted in critical condition to SKIMS hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The policeman was identified as Farooq Ahmad Itoo of Chadoora, Budgam.

The militants decamp with the service riles of both the policemen, reports said.
