Pakistan can’t get Kashmir by ‘sponsoring terrorism,’ says Farooq

Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah on Monday said that Pakistan cannot get Kashmir by “sponsoring terrorism.”

“They (Pakistan) cannot get Jammu and Kashmir by sponsoring and penetrating terrorism here,” the National Conference leader told reporters in Jammu.

Pakistan should understand that nothing will come out of it, but will only cause deaths and destructions on both sides, Abdullah said.

“They (Pakistan) should re-think on it (sponsoring terrorism) and get a way out of it. They cannot get Jammu and Kashmir by sponsoring terrorism. The decision has been taken in 1947 and it cannot be reversed,” he said.

The NC leader said that if they keep sending militants to change destiny, it cannot happen.

“They should take to the path on which things will be resolved and both countries will prosper. If terrorism increases here, both countries will bleed, but they (Pakistan) will be destroyed and nothing will remain there,” he said.

“These attacks would keep taking place. It will not stop. They are not going to stop it. If they were honest to stop it, they would not have been sending militants to attack here,” the former chief minister said.
