
Srinagar: The Punjab government in Pakistan has launched free internet service (wifi hotspot) at over 200 points in five cities of the province, a media report said on Thursday.
Chief Minister of Panjab province of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif formally opened the free internet service for Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur and Murree at a ceremony held at Arfa Kareem Software Technology Park by pressing a button here on Wednesday, the report added.
He termed the service a step towards digitalising the province, the report said.
