Srinagar: Police Wednesday arrested a “notorious and chronic drug peddler” from Saina-Bawa, Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh alias Gul Nuik, son of Mohammad Sultan Sheikh resident of Baran-Pathar Batamaloo and recovered 8 kilograms of Poppy Straw (Fukki) and 105 grams of Cannabis from his possession.

A formal Case under FIR No. 80/2018 under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Batamaloo & investigation taken up, a police official said.
