Pro-freedom camp infested with Indian agents?

Srinagar, Nov 3: The incarcerated Ameer of Muslim Deeni Mahaz (MDM) Dr Muhammad Qasim Faktoo in a statement issued here today said that some pro-freedom activists want to shatter the unity forged between trio resistance leaders Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, who are spearheading the present uprising.

Faktoo was quoted by his party spokesman to have said, “Indian agencies and some pro-freedom activists are hell bent on breaking this unity. Some  of them  want to appease their political masters in Delhi by creating rifts in the unity while others do it as they feel a threat to their political existence in the prevalence of this unison.”

The statement also said that there are people in both Geelani’s as well Mirwaiz’s Hurriyat factions who are against the unity among the trio.

Faktoo asked Syed Ali Shah Geelani to make this “unison permanent by christening it Apex Hurriyat Committee”, the statement added.

Faktoo also said that both Geelani and Mirwaiz know that there are people in their respective forums who are pressurizing the duo to disunite with each other.

“Syed Ali Geelani knows well that those among his forum who are against this unity  are not even his well-wishers… Mirwaiz knows well that these people who are pressurizing him are known in the masses as advisers of Indian rulers and are politically non existent,” the statement added.

The incarcerated leader also suggested to include Mian Abdul Qayoom, president Kashmir High Court Bar Association, as fourth member of this committee.
