Srinagar: The authorities have given green signal to the mobile operators in the Valley for the restoration of post-paid mobile internet services. The recently-launched Reliance Jio postpaid mobile services started their mobile internet services from Friday 8pm .
An employe working in Vodafone mobile services confirmed that the authorities have sent a written communication for the restoration of post-paid mobile internet Friday morning.
“Since Jio Reliance have only post-paid services, they launched their mobile internet service right away. However, we have offer both post-paid and pre-paid services and have to sift the pre-paid from post-paid numbers and it will take some time. By Friday midnight our post-paid services too will be restored,” the employe told Kashmir Narrator.
The mobile internet was snapped in the Valley on 8 July evening when militant commander Burhan Wani was killed by the government forces.
