A teenage boy was killed during protests in south Kashmir’s Shopian district after five militants were killed in a gunfight early morning today, a police official said here.

The official said that 16-year old Zubair Ahmad, a resident of Aayangund in neighbouring Pulwama was killed during clashes near the encounter site in Shopian’s Badigam village.
