Srinagar: Students of Government Higher Secondary school Newa, Pulwama district of south Kashmir clashed with police to protest against the students arrests on Monday.

Locals said that the students were joined by local youth after they marched out of the campus.

Police, however, resorted to tear gas shelling to disperse the youth, triggering clashes in the area.
