Militants offer a gun salute to slain Lashkar militant Ashiq Hussain Bhat in Shopian on Monday. Bhat was killed along with other Lashkar militant Aamir Ahmad of Harmain, Shopian on Sunday, 4 March, evening. Four civilians were also killed in “cold blood” by the Army soon after the militant killings. Police said they are investigating the matter. However, the Army has maintained their claim that the civilians were accompanying the militants, a claim refuted by the locals.
