Srinagar: Heavy clashes erupted between civilians and army personnel in Khudwani area of Qaimoh tehsil in south Kashmir’s Shopian district during a search operation on Thursday evening.

Reports said that army laid down a cordon following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

However, youth resorted to stone pelting to disrupt the search operation.
