Srinagar: Two soldiers and as many militants were killed in a gunfight along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowgam sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday, May 20, news agency PTI reported.

The report said that an infiltration bid was foiled in Nowgam sector of north Kashmir.

“An infiltration bid was foiled by alert troops along the LoC in Naugam sector. Two infiltrating terrorists were killed,” an army official was quoted as saying by the news agency.
